Brutal and imposing, our graffiti emblazoned mothership and home divides aesthetic opinion in Brighton.
The Brighton Studio is based in New England House, Brighton’s foremost creative business residence, housing over 96 businesses over eight floors, from digital media companies to magazines, from a French bakery to life drawing and the Brighton's Digital Exchange. The council owned building provides much needed accommodation for the life-blood of our local economy.
Opened in 1963, New England House is the world’s first purpose built high rise industrial business centre, designed in the Brutalist architectural style and is now a site of significant importance to the city.
The Brighton Studio takes up a whole side of this concrete and glass A-shaped building. We're incredibly lucky that the south-east side of our complex is lined with large wall to wall windows, allowing perfect natural light in to Studio A, our breakout and the meeting room.
Our co-working space get the benefits of afternoon sun and shelter from midday heat as part of the cooler interior of the site.
Come visit sometime! We're just a stroll downhill from the station.
